We are the rental company. Rents in Cyprus LTD is registered in Cyprus as HE 448739, at Griva Digeni 55, Chlorakas 8220, Paphos, and it owns the vehicles it hires out.

Nothing on this site sends you to another company to finish the booking. There is no broker between you and the vehicle and no commission added to the rate. The number in the footer reaches the people who hand over the keys.

Our fleet runs to more than 40 vehicles. We publish no availability count, because a number that moves hourly is stale the moment it is typed.

At the handover, and not before. Sending a request costs nothing, and no card is charged or held when you send one.

You pay when you collect the vehicle, in cash or by card. The date picker on this site checks our own price list for the days you have chosen and then sends a request, which means a date you can select is a date you may ask for rather than one we have said yes to. Nothing is held until we come back and confirm it.

Our full rental terms

We answer between 08:00 and 23:00 Cyprus time, and we give you a deadline rather than an average: a request sent before 20:00 Cyprus time is answered the same evening, and anything later is answered first thing the next morning. We do not work through the night, so a request sent at 01:00 waits until the morning. Nothing is taken from your card while you wait, so there is nothing to cancel either way.

That is a window of when we are reachable, not a promise of how fast we answer inside it. We publish no response time, because we do not measure one, and no counter opening hours, which are a separate claim we have not made.

Reach us directly

The waiver is optional and costs 15 euro a day on a car. Take it and your liability for eligible bodywork damage stops at a 300 euro excess. Leave it and bodywork damage is yours in full.

The exclusions decide more cases than the number does, so they are listed here rather than referenced. The waiver does not cover off-road use, tyres, glass, the underbody, the interior or the keys.

We sell no zero-excess product, so nobody on this site will offer you one.

The test is whether your card will take the pre-authorisation, not what the card is called. Where it will, we take no cash deposit, subject to approval, the vehicle category and the rental conditions. A Revolut card qualifies, and so does a debit card that accepts the hold. Where a card will not take one, a refundable deposit may be held instead.

We state that plainly because it is the question this market asks most and answers least. Across the German, Polish, French and Russian forum threads we read on 6 September 2026, the card question comes up repeatedly and goes unanswered, and none of the seven Paphos companies whose terms we read publishes an answer to it either.

Deposits, and what a company may holdHow to check a company's deposit before you book

Yes. The waiver is a car product. Both buggies are hired without one, and that follows from what the waiver covers rather than being an oversight: it pays for eligible bodywork and excludes off-road use, which is most of what a buggy does.

So on a buggy, damage is the rider's. Read that alongside the route rules further down, because the two answers are really one answer.

Where a buggy may go

Six things, and all of them are avoidable. They are set out below with the figures rather than described in prose, because a charge you cannot see the size of is not a charge you can plan around.

It differs. A car is from 21. A scooter or a buggy may be accepted from 18, and that word may carries weight: it depends on your licence category, your driving experience and the insurance conditions attached to the machine.

Both figures are ours rather than statutory. What the law of the Republic requires of a driver is a separate question, and the driving guide sources it.

Driving rules in Cyprus

Yes, and it is 90 on the pick-up date. Drivers from 21 to 73 pay no surcharge. From 74 to 75 the rental line carries 15% more, and from 76 to 90 it carries 30%. That percentage is taken on the vehicle day-rate total only, not on the waiver, the extras or a handover fee. Over 90 we cannot hire a car.

The oldest named driver sets the band, because the rental terms approve drivers individually. Adding a 78-year-old as second driver to a 40-year-old's hire makes the whole hire a 76-to-90 one. Age is judged on the pick-up date, so somebody who turns 76 the week before their holiday is in that band for it.

Confirmed by the owner on 2 September 2026. It replaces an earlier open-ended answer on this page, and it is bounded rather than open. Tell us the dates and the oldest driver's date of birth and we will price it before you book a flight around it.

The original document, held for at least two years, in the correct category for what you are hiring. A photograph of it, a scan or a photocopy is not enough, whatever another company may accept.

Whether your national licence needs an International Driving Permit beside it in Cyprus is a rule of the Republic rather than a term of ours, so the driving guide answers it with its sources and its verification date.

Licences and permits in Cyprus

For a car, a day is 24 hours, and one day is the shortest hire we do.

A buggy works differently: rides start from one hour. What a full buggy day runs to is agreed when we confirm your request, and we do not publish a figure for it here, because the only figures on this site are the ones written down in advance.

Unlimited mileage arrives with a rental of five days or more, subject to the rental terms, alongside the airport meet and greet, a second driver and a baby seat on request. For shorter rentals the mileage terms on your agreement apply.

One vehicle is capped whatever the length. The 2-seat buggy runs to 100 km a day, and beyond that it is 0.25 euro per extra km.

You pay a refuelling fee and the cost of the fuel itself. The policy is full to full, so the level you take it away at is the level to bring it back at.

Fill up before you reach the handover point rather than at the airport, where the last station before the terminal charges what the last station before a terminal always charges.

What fuel costs today, by district

Cars island-wide since August 2026. Buggies and the scooter in the Paphos area only, because that is where those machines are kept.

A request pairing a buggy or the scooter with a town outside the Paphos area is one we have to turn down, so the booking form does not offer it.

No. Returns are same-town only, and that holds between our own two offices as much as anywhere else: a car collected in Paphos comes back to Paphos.

One city governs both ends of the rental, which is why the booking form asks you to choose a city first and then offers the pick-up and drop-off points inside it. A vehicle left somewhere other than the agreed point is charged from 300 euro.

Across the Paphos area, yes, free, at any rental length. In Limassol, Larnaca, Nicosia and Ayia Napa we deliver cars to the address you give us, and you agree the point with us when you send the request.

Give us the address rather than the hotel name where you can. Two hotels in Paphos share a name and only one of them has anywhere to park.

Ask us first. We can agree it in advance, and it needs three things: our permission, separate insurance covering the northern part, and the documentation that goes with it.

Crossing without that agreement is an exclusion under our terms, which means an incident up there is yours. Settle it before you book rather than at the crossing, where the only options are turning round or driving uninsured.

The Green Line, and what your cover does at it

Routes are agreed in writing before you leave, and approved zones may include Lara Bay, Avakas Gorge, White River and Adonis Baths, subject to conditions on the day. The Blue Lagoon and public highways are refused.

Cars are asphalt only. Taking one off-road is charged as a penalty, and the waiver you may have bought stops applying at the same moment.

Buggy hire in Paphos

We meet you at the point you chose, check the licences of everyone who will drive, take payment, walk the vehicle with you and photograph it before you take it. The walk-round is the part worth your attention: existing marks get recorded then, or they get argued about later.

Bring the original licence for every driver, the card you intend to pay with, and the flight number if we are meeting you at an airport. A handover takes about fifteen minutes when the paperwork is in order.

We photograph the vehicle at collection and at return, and you are welcome to photograph it yourself. Most disputes we see anywhere in this trade come down to what a panel looked like at the start.
