Car Hire in Coral Bay, Paphos, From 65 Euro a Day.

We are Rents in Cyprus LTD, and Coral Bay is one of four handover points we serve in the Paphos area.

You will have seen lower numbers than ours. Momondo published Coral Bay small cars at 8 to 24 pounds a day, averaging 16, with the lowest listed at 10 pounds and a cheapest month of January at 8 pounds, which it put at 53 percent below the rest of the year (read 11 August 2026). Those are real figures. They are also rates quoted before the excess, the deposit rule and the fuel policy, which is where the difference between a headline and a total usually sits. Our page states the excess in the next section instead of at the counter.

One difference is worth stating plainly: every car we hire is automatic, and our automatic entry is 65 EUR for a day, falling to 17 EUR a day from 30 days. U2 Car Rentals, which has a shop in Coral Bay itself, published automatic small cars at 56 EUR a day and much of its cheaper fleet as manual (read 11 August 2026).

We do not have a shop in Coral Bay. Six rental businesses hold the Cyprus local pack for this area and several of them have a counter you can walk into. We are not one of them, and saying otherwise would be a claim about premises we do not have.

What we have instead is delivery. We bring the car to hotels and villas across the Paphos area, free, at any rental length, with no distance cap and no fee, and we collect it from the same address afterwards. That covers the whole strip across the bay and the hillside up towards Peyia.

On our booking form, Coral Bay is a handover point you can select for both pick-up and drop-off. Selecting it means we come to you there. If you are staying outside the named areas, choose "Deliver to my address" and tell us where.

Third-party liability is included in every rate. So is 24/7 roadside assistance. The Collision Damage Waiver is optional at 15 EUR a day and brings the excess down to 300 EUR.

The exclusions sit in the same table as the 300 EUR on purpose. An excess figure without the list of what it does not cover tells you less than no figure at all. We read the published pages of U2, Nestor and Maria, Nippy Turtle, momondo and Zest on 11 August 2026, and not one of them states an excess amount in euro.

Our deposit term has a condition attached, and one company here beats it. Nippy Turtle publishes "No deposit holds, No credit card needed" with no conditions stated (read 11 August 2026). If you are arriving without a credit card, that is a better term than ours, and you should know it before you write to us.

We are not a desk in the terminal, and we will not imply that we are. Hermes Airports, which operates Paphos International, publishes that five car rental companies have offices at Larnaka and Pafos airports, in Arrivals after the Baggage Reclaim area (read 11 August 2026). We are not one of the five. We meet you at the forecourt.

One rule matters more than it looks. Returns are same-town only. Pick-up and drop-off are both in Paphos, we do not run one-way rentals between our towns, and a return to the wrong location is charged from 300 EUR. A company with two towns reads like a company you can drive between and drop off at either end. Here you cannot.

That last one is worth putting against what the comparison sites tell you. Momondo's own Coral Bay page says a young-driver surcharge may be applied if you are under 25 (read 11 August 2026). We do not charge one.

The licence you need for an ordinary car is EU category B, which Directive 2006/126/EC Article 4 defines as vehicles up to 3,500 kg carrying no more than eight passengers plus the driver (read 11 August 2026). That is EU law rather than a statement of Cyprus licensing practice, and the rules above are our own hire conditions rather than a statutory minimum.

Our shortest hire is one day, meaning 24 hours. U2 advertises a three-day minimum on the same coast (Tripadvisor review, read 11 August 2026).

Four things become free on rentals of five days or more: the airport meet-and-greet, a second driver, a baby seat on request, and unlimited mileage, subject to rental terms.

Four rows there go against us, and they are not accidents of layout.

If you are arriving without a credit card, Nippy Turtle's deposit term is better than ours. If you want the lowest possible headline rate, momondo lists 11 operators in Coral Bay and shows lows we do not match. If you need only the smallest car in low season, Nestor and Maria published an entry group starting at 15 EUR a day, below our 17 EUR March, although their high-season figure for the same group is 35 EUR, above it. And if you want a counter in Coral Bay you can walk into, U2, Nestor and Maria, HIRE Car by CHRIS, Land and Sea Properties and GMC Motors all have one. We do not.

Zest is a Which? Recommended broker publishing free cancellation up to 48 hours, which is a real advantage. Its Coral Bay rating of 5.00 rests on five survey responses, which is also real.

On our side: we publish no rating and no review count, because we have collected none. We come back to confirm a request between 08:00 and 23:00 Cyprus time, and we hold ourselves to a deadline inside that window: send it before 20:00 Cyprus time and you have the answer the same evening, later than that and you have it first thing the next morning.

Sending the form is a request. Nothing is held until we confirm it, and there is no prepayment.
