About Rents in Cyprus LTD
We are a vehicle rental company based in the Paphos area of the Republic of Cyprus, hiring cars in Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, Nicosia and Ayia Napa. The fleet on this site is ours, the rates are ours, and a booking made here is made with us. There is no agency, no broker and no other company in the middle.
Our rates and terms were last confirmed on 3 August 2026.
The registered company behind this site
Rentals in Cyprus is the trading name of Rents in Cyprus LTD, a company registered in Cyprus with its office in Chlorakas, a few minutes north of Paphos town. Every page on this domain is published by that company about its own vehicles.
We publish the registration number so you can check us before you send a booking request. If a detail below does not match what you find on the register, tell us and we will correct the page.

We do not publish opening hours, an incorporation date, a VAT number or a licence number anywhere on this site, because none of them is confirmed in writing to us. A figure we cannot stand behind is left out rather than estimated.
What we hire, and what we do not
The fleet is more than 40 vehicles across twelve models: city cars, hybrids, a seven-seat MPV, an eight-seat van, an SUV, two off-road buggies and a 125cc scooter. Every car in it is automatic, which is worth saying plainly because a manual is still the default assumption in a lot of European hire.
The rates below are our Paphos price list at two lengths: what one day costs, and what the same vehicle costs on a longer hire. The day rate falls in steps as the hire gets longer, and the steps are not the same on every group, so each row states its own. Rates also move with the season, and none of them includes the optional Collision Damage Waiver. We quote the real figure against your dates.
Limassol is priced separately, and has been since 20 August 2026. It has thirteen cars of its own and a rate that falls in four bands with the length of the hire, so none of the figures below is a Limassol figure. The Limassol page carries that card in full.
| Group | What is in it | One day | Longer hire, per day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Economy | Nissan March, Mitsubishi Mirage, Nissan Note | 65 EUR | 17 EUR from 30 days |
| Hybrid | Nissan Note E-Power, Toyota Vitz Hybrid, Honda Fit Hybrid | 85 EUR | 50 EUR, 7 to 30 days |
| Seven and eight seats | Toyota Sienta Hybrid (7), Nissan Serena (8) | 110 EUR | 65 EUR, 7 to 30 days |
| SUV | Nissan X-Trail, 4WD | 160 EUR | 75 EUR, 7 to 30 days |
| Buggy | BNG-400 Sniper (2 seats), CFMoto UForce 1000XL (6 seats) | 150 EUR | 80 EUR, 7 to 31 days |
| Scooter | Kymco Agility 125, helmet included | 40 EUR | 10 EUR from 30 days |
- We do not hire cargo, moving, removal or refrigerated vehicles, and we do not supply a minibus with a driver.
- We do not hire quads or ATVs today. A quad is on order and nothing about it is priced or specified yet, so no page states a quad rate, model or availability.
- We hire nothing north of the Green Line, and driving a vehicle of ours into the north needs our prior permission, separate insurance and the right documents.
Where we hand vehicles over
There are four handover points in the Paphos area: our Chlorakas office, Paphos Airport, Coral Bay and Kato Paphos. Delivery to a hotel or villa across the Paphos area is free at any rental length, and airport meet and greet is free on rentals of five days or more.
Since August 2026 there is a fifth, in Limassol: our office at Andrea Zaimi 11a, with the same free delivery to a hotel or villa. Limassol is cars only, and since 20 August it hires its own thirteen cars at its own rates rather than the ones above. The buggies and the scooter stay in Paphos, because that is where those machines are, and there is no airport meet and greet on a Limassol hire because Limassol has no airport.
Since August 2026 we hire cars in Larnaca, Nicosia and Ayia Napa as well. We hold no office and no counter in any of the three, so the car comes to the address you give us at a time we agree when we confirm. Paphos Airport is the only airport where we meet anyone off a flight, so a trip that starts at a Larnaca Airport desk is not a trip we can take.
Polis, Latchi and Pissouri are still outside what we cover, for any vehicle. We would rather turn a request down than take one we cannot fill.
Pick-up and drop-off are in the same city: we do not run one-way rentals between any two of the five. A vehicle returned to the wrong location is charged from 300 euro, which is another reason the handover points are stated plainly rather than buried in the terms.
How a booking works with us
Booking here is two steps. On any vehicle page you pick your dates and go through to the reservation page, which reads our own fleet live for those exact dates: it shows you what is genuinely free, what those days actually cost, and what is included, before you tell us anything about yourself. Then you send the request. The second step is where the real numbers are, because they come from our own price list for your window rather than from a table on a page.
What the second step does not do is take the vehicle off the shelf, and we would rather say that than let you assume otherwise. A person here reads the request and confirms it, and the vehicle is yours from that reply. Nothing is held before it, no page on this site claims otherwise, and you can always skip the whole flow and phone us instead.
You pay nothing to make the request and nothing before you arrive. Payment happens at pick-up, in cash or by card. With a valid credit card there is no cash deposit, subject to approval, the vehicle category and the rental conditions.
What we do not publish, and why
A rental site can look more convincing than it has any right to be. These are the things we have decided not to put on this one, and the reason in each case is the same: we do not hold the evidence.
- No ratings, star scores, review counts or testimonials. We have collected none, so we publish none, and we do not repeat another company's.
- No countdown, no "three people are looking at this", no invented scarcity of any kind. The reservation page reads our fleet live and tells you plainly whether a vehicle is free for your dates; what it will never do is manufacture pressure about it.
- No claim that a vehicle is being held for you. We can check it and price it in real time, and we cannot take it off the shelf: a request stays a request until a person here confirms it.
- No live price quote in a table on a page. Every figure printed on this site is a starting rate from our own price list with the date the owner confirmed it; the live figure for your own dates exists on the reservation page and only there.
- No month-by-month rate grid. Our rates do move with the season, but that variation is not quantified in our written terms, so inventing a grid for it would be a guess with a decimal point.
- No link to any other rental company, under any ownership. We name competitors when we quote a dated figure from their own published page, and we do not link to them, because a link from a rental company to a rival is not a neutral act.
Who writes this site
The guides here are written by Paul Bendzik, who manages the company, lives in Limassol and hands cars over most weeks. His name is on every guide, in every language the site is published in, and his page sets out which subjects he writes from experience and which he looks up.
The hire pages carry no byline, and that is deliberate rather than an omission. Rates and terms are the company's, not one person's opinion, so they are published in the company's name with the registration number beside them.
Cyprus, and which part of it is ours
This site covers vehicle rental in the Republic of Cyprus and nothing else. There is no advice here about renting a car anywhere else, and there is no supply listed north of the Green Line.
Within Cyprus, our own operation is cars in five cities and the whole fleet in the Paphos area. Where we write about a town we do not reach, or about another operator, we are writing about the market rather than about our own coverage, and the page says which is which.
Talk to the company, not to a call centre
The phone line and the email address below reach us directly. If you want to check something before you book, that includes anything on this page: the registration, the rates, the handover points or the terms.
